Tea Spoon made from fallen Yew, foraged in Suffolk. Yew is one of my all time favourite woods with such a beautiful grain varying from almost white to vibrant orange. The grain is super tight which gives a surface smooth as marble.
Sadly this spoon has a slight imperfection, I don’t think it will split, but this is the reason for the low price. See picture.
Handcarved, sanded smooth and finished with walnut oil to enhance the woods natural beauty. Lenght: 14cm
If you have a *NUT ALLERGY* this spoon will sadly not be safe for you to use due to the walnut oil finish. However please do get in contact if you’d like something similar with different oil finish.
